Description of Special Events:
While there are no “typical weeks” at THE AWAITING TABLE, what with seasonal variations in food, local festivals, etc. However, we often host special guests or accommodate special events which are so unique that they deserve their own category, and, upon occasion, pricing.

• Special Guests. Given the fact that we are the only full-time cooking school in Puglia, we are occasionally honored by prominent members of the food community. For instance, we hosted Clifford Wright in September for two weeks. If you are a prominent member of the food, restaurant, or travel industry, then please contact us for more information.

• Special Events. We constantly strive to show our students a side of Italy that cannot be observed from an isolated hilltop villa, while intimately connecting them to the region, the people and their customs. For instance, Easter week is a really big deal in Italy and one of the most spectacular events you can ever witness. So, we offer a special Easter Week class each and every year. These special events will be promoted prominently on our web site.

• Special Hosts. Many of our guests are travel and/or food professionals who choose to return to THE AWAITING TABLE with their own groups. We very much support people striving to turn their passions into a business and offer lucrative commissions to those bringing their own groups.
