Our students stay at a charmingly-typical Lecce B&B less than a minute (you can hold your breath and still make it there from here) walk from The Awaiting Table Italian Cooking School, in the beautiful historic center of Lecce.. It's where we'd like to stay if were visiting the city of Lecce.

Awake each morning to the rich, baroque tones of Lecce’s bell tower. Stay within steps of the city’s duomo, main piazza, world-class shopping and Gracious Antonio’s espresso bar, our rendezvous point each morning (and easily the best espresso in the entire south of Italy.)

Relax. We’ve thought of everything. For the week courses, we’ll make your arrangements for you, in our elegant Lecce Bed and Breakfast, easily one of the most charming, beautiful and centrally-located B and B’s in all of Italy. This is on us, and is included in your tuition. (Sorry, for day courses, this service in not included in our quoted price).

Furnished with elegant, Old World antiques but New World amenities, the spacious and immaculately-kept palazzo dates from the 14th century, when it was lovingly constructed for the city’s nobility.This Lecce B&B far exceeds most B&Bs: each room has private bathes, minibars, elegant linens, vaulted ceilings and access to the spacious, roof-top garden, with some of the best views in the entire city. Elena, the young and eager owner, will be there to meet your every need, offering optional laundry or additional services.

Single travelers:
There is a 250 Euro supplement for single rooms.
Non-participating spouses may attend meals and outings for 800 Euro per week.

This fee includes housing, meals, field trips, as well as an extensive list of contacts and things to do, such as Vespa rental, nearby beaches and potential conversation partners, those interested in showing non-participates around town, in exchange for English-language conversation. Bring a friend and avoid the fee!.

We hope all who come participate, but realize that doesn't always happen. We have great success with appealing to reluctant spouses, once in Lecce. Please consider enrolling as the best way to see the city. Please contact us with further questions.

•Early Arrival: Although we highly recommend against early arrivals, those that insist may book additional evenings at the Bed and Breakfast, when available, for 150 Euro a night. Transportation is your own, but you can direct the Cabbie to Palazzo Rollo, Via Vittorio Emanuele, No. 11, Lecce.
•Later Departure: Those that wish to stay on after the course- and when space is available- may for an addition 150 Euro per night, starting with Saturday night.
•Non-participating spouses: May attend meals and outings for 800 Euro per week. This fee includes housing, meals and field trips. We have great success with appealing to reluctant spouses, once in Lecce. Please consider enrolling as the best way to see the city. Contact us with further questions.

Alternative housing:

While we went to great lengths to choose the best accomodations in all of Lecce (location, beauty, sense of place, that is, inline with our school's philosophy), we also realize that no one place can meet the needs of all of our students.

For those that need to stay in an alternative establishment, we offer a 250 Euro discount of the cost of tuition at the time of initial registration.
Your arrangements are your own, to be worked out between you and the Lecce hotel or Lecce bed and breakfast.
